@dwheels yes it was a really long time but we always had hope and waited for the best so it's all worth it :)

@dwheels　i guess China is same as other countries....cause remember last week you thought NVC doesn't schedule the interview for China cases.. but apparently, NVC schedules the interview for us too, cause I contacted the embassy to request early interview, they had no clue...they asked me to contact NVC regarding the interview, . :oops:

i guess 10/7 is ok, it's like a month from now...so i will just stick with the original date.

But thanks still.... :luv:

12/7/2017: additional evidence sent and delivered 

2/2/2018: Green card mailed! Status changed!

You can still request the earlier date you asked too soon. Your case has to get to embassy first. So track it and then once its there you can ask.

I tell you this NVC is forever changing things. But glad you got the interview fast.

Congratulations Ellinora! Glad to finally see you here!

Sorry for everyone else- Been super busy packing the old flat away! It's been quite a hectic week.. Interview is on Friday! Nervous wreck I am right now.

Congrats on all the case completes and interviews being scheduled :).

Good luck to all those who are about to have their interviews, and congrats to those who were approved!

I know, they are slow... and I heard for EPs, they sent through internet, so it takes like a second! but I'm not sure if it is true

I know for some of the EPs, it shows in transit and the next day it shows ready.

I've been waiting for this day for so long....I hope they will issue the visa asap after interview so he can get here before November.. then I can take my two weeks vacation..

HELLO VJ FRIENDS MY HUSBAND HAS AN INTERVIEW OCTOBER 30 8:00am. Is there anything i could do to call NVC and ask for an early date?? Any idea oct 30 sounds too far:(

i am wondering when they will send out the interview appointment letter/email.... has anyone gotten email yet?

Have u called nvc yet? I called an hour ago and found out my husband has an interview oct 30 nvc said they will send out email in 2 weeks! U should call and ask them do they have interview for u?

my husband's interview is on 10/7, I called last Friday, interview was scheduled last thursday, they are always slow with their emails or any notifications...

you can ask embassy to get an early date but it's not guaranteed. but you have to wait till they get your document first; otherwise, it's too early to request now cause embassy doesn't have your case yet.

I requested early date, but embassy told me to check status with NVC since they did not have my document yet....

& did u get an early date that u requested?

Do i call nvc for an early date, or do i call the embasy where my husbands interview will take place?
