I have a similiar question. Is it possible to send two certfied copies of each document or does it have to be a certified copy and a Photocopy?

As per NVC instructions it has to be a certified copy and Photocopy. Please call NVC and talk to a supervisor if you have already send the package

I sent the IV package and forgot to make copies of the originals and didn't include any copies in the package just the originals. Is this gna be a checklist? Has anyone gotten check listed for this before?

The way NVC is functioning you can get checklist ...As per their instructions they need photocopy...One reason they take photocopies is that you can ask for originals at the interview...I would suggest call NVC and check...As you have recently sent the package I would send another package with the Document Cover sheet and Photocopies..

Hey guys I have a question.

I called NVC today and was told that I didn't have to translate the police certificate and that I didn't need military records for my husband because on the reciprocity page it's listed as unavailable or unknown.

Is this true that the police certificate doesn't have to be translated?

And does anyone have any experience or concerns with military records that they can share with me?

How long has it been taking for NVC to review packages lately? Is it true that it takes 60 days nowadays?

can someone plz help me out, I have two case at NVC i paid only one of the AOS fee coz am the US citizen filling for two step-kids but the other one says not paid still. should i pay the other one or will it be shown paid after they review the cases. and alsoi wanna send the packages out but now i have no cover page for the second applicant

I keep getting error while filling out DS-260 online on Previous Address, on the statement below do they mean oldest to new, new to oldest?

"Please provide the following information on all addresses you lived at since turning sixteen. Begin with your address immediately before your current address."

I tried both of that and same probelm. I even tried on a different computer but I'm getting the same error. This is happening with ALL of my case numbers and inoice ids.. and I have 5 sets of those. So I know I am definitely not entering it wrong for everyone.

I would start getting them now. Its still early for you. Even if you don't get a checklist you will have them for the interview and maybe they will let you slide and just bring copies to interview. Always best to be prepared if you ask me. Don't give them easy reasons for delaying your case.

The beneficiary should be filling that out or you can do it for them.

Im just being curious about this. For those of you (including us) who sent their IV packet before there IV fee, what do you consider as your last scan date, your IV Packet or the date you completed your DS-260?

i also want to know the answer to this question...

Do they consider last scan date as the day IV package was scanned into their system or the date ds-260 was submitted,if IV package was send before submitting the ds-260?

Pretty sure its the IV packet receipt/scan date.

If the spouse of the beneficiary is a U.S. citizen then the answer to both is no.
