Just a heads up that might be useful to some of you. My I-601 was approved on September 8. I'm outside of the US but my son in Florida got the approval by mail yesterday, a few days behind because of

On june 24th it has been 14months exactly for the 601 and still nothing. the 212 is another 10 more days before it hits the 14month mark. Its so cruel and unfair to be punished like this due to a stup

I am in the same situation like yours! I sent my waiver in october 28 and still waiting! I am in facebook groups and lataly i have seen many approval! That makes me feel with more hope! Also we made a whataapps group for pray and encouragement, cuz this process is eating us alive! Hope all of us can finally finish with this nightmatter and get togehter to our families. Amen ????

As I have stated before this is our second time applying. My husband's 601a wavier was approved, but his medical kept him from re-entering the USA. The first time round it took about 4 months for the NVC to approve (they received our wavier packet on 10/20/2014 and the case was completed on 02/20/2015...we received the appointment letter from the Consulate about 7 months later on 09/15/2015...my husband's interview with Consulate was 10/16/2015)...hope that is encouraging.

In facebook there are many groups, the one that i am following cuz there are many people active, 601 waiver journey and lets get togehter 601 & 601A. So the most activitity is on 601 waiver journey. ?? hope to see you there.

May, 2016 Denied on base that I need to file form I-212 instead.

October 5, 2015, we received your Form I-601.

NVC Processing I-130

June 2, 2015 Interview at US embassy in Panama, visa was not issue have to file I-601.

May 12, 2015 US embassy receives visa petition and sent instructions

May 4, 2015, NVC Completed pre-processing of visa petition.

April 24, 2015, NVC received case.

I-130

November 24, 2014, case sent to the Department of State for visa processing.

11/19/2014 approved Form I-130.

04/24/2014 received Form I-130

Our form was received on October 5th and its been 3 years or more since we applied for I-130, it's been ridiculous the time immigration takes to process these forms. there is nothing else to do but to wait and ask for peace and serenity...

I wonder how many people they have working 601 Cases in Nebraska and/or if they work multiple case types. Over this 3 day period they have over 140 i601 Cases and this is just a needle in the haystack of other types of case types they receive.

Bottom line, I had no idea they received so many cases.

I just called USCIS and agent said that they are behind 2 months on the I-601 process, good news and I quote "they have move forward this time instead of backwards like some months back". So it seems that now instead of 6 months process time its going to take 7-8 months. I am just hoping they keep moving forward much faster :thumbs: .

an am still waiting, so I decide to sent a service request for Expedite my case

but today they told me I need to make an appointment with USCIS and bring sporting my request...!

so I don't know what kind of documents I need to take

Any idea ?
