Waiting in vain & getting paranoid

I mailed the package via USPS August 11,2014 and i'am frustrated, i dunno where my package is. There's no update from the USPS. Is this normal or should i start to get worried? No text or email from USCIS too. Whenever i try to track the package it just say that it was accepted August 11, 2014 and estimated time of delivery August 15, 2014 no confirmation that it was delivered. *sigh*

Sounds like a USPS error right now, not USCIS. Can you contact USPS and get more info?

I mailed my packet from DC to the TX lockbox on 3/31 and USCIS had it on 4/2, issued the NOA1 on 4/4. Think that timeline is pretty normal.

I sent mine from Georgia regular mail and it got to the Texas Lockbox in 3 days. You might want to check with the Post Office to see if they can put a trace on it.

i mailed mine Aug 12 to the Phoenix lockbox and haven't received my NOA1 yet :/ no text/email either :/

Which USPS delivery did you use? Express?

I deal with USPS on a daily basis. If the package shows "Accepted" that means that the your local office has it.

If it hasn't left the office then you won't show tracking information.

Did you use a third party to mail it? I use a place called The Mailbox and on more than 1 occassion i have had packages sit at their facility for days before they realized it was left out.

You need to call USPS for an update. Some times they are delayed about posting tracking, but not usually.

Just checked our case status right now, it says On August 20, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

Anyone who had the same experience care to share?

That's the 2nd step for everyone (NOA1 being the first). Now you get the pleasure of waiting indefinitely for approval. Good luck!
