Members post timelines to help others. That is the purpose of the timeline really. In fact, the general purpose of VJ is to help others, is it not? (That's rhetorical...no need to answer) lol

Its not mandatory, but its a courtesy to each other to share our processing information

so that we can learn from each other's processing. VJ site is the best out there for its kind,

and that is so by active members willingly sharing their knowledge, experience, and

processing timeline.

And if you ever benefited by looking at others' timelines,

then the courtesy return favor would be to put one in yourself.

But, if you are not comfortable for whatever reason, then I most of us can understand.

There are many without timelines as well.

I agree my fiancee have to get used to a lot of changes, things I find simple she is amazed by them. Things like not having to wash her clothes by hand. Living in a much bigger house. Trying different foods.

But I have noticed something, we Americans enjoy a lot of wonderful perks and have many wonderful things that people of the Philippines will never have or experience.

But they are very happy and content with what they have or don't have, while our suicide rate is ridiculous.

Being with Michille taught me so many things and I have learned so much from her. Despite all the hard times she experience, all the suffering she has been through. She always have a smile on her beautiful face, she never complains about anything. She is always happy and she loves me for me. She doesn't want anything from me but honesty caring, warmth, understanding, trust, communication and love.

If I give her all of those things everyday for the rest of our lives, I will never ever have to worry about her changing her mind.

Finding the right person requires maturity and understanding what you want and will not put up with.

Amen to that brother! I also was amazed at the smiles on peoples faces that were living in conditions that we would consider extreme poverty. My wife is the same. She has been thru hell and back and yet she has taught me how to be calm and not get angry. She has this great big heart and is so kind and loving. It really is amazing how people who are raised under such difficult circumstances can be so great!
