visitors visa to the U.S

Has anyone from the philipines (wife or husband) visited the U.S while waiting for there visa? My wife wants to come but I don't know if it's possible.

your spouse would have to have extremely strong ties to the Philippines and even then on a tourist visa the chance of approval is slim to none. Once you filed paperwork for immigration the only real option is for the US citizen to visit the spouse.

You can file for tourist visa or visitors visa but just a warning most people who applied for this category here in Philippines didn't grant a visa. Got a friend also who applied 3times to visit her husband under visitors visa and got denied.

If she already has a valid tourist visa, yes she can visit.

But if not and will still apply, plus she has a pending sputum culture, I would say chances are slim.
