It must be original signatures. Also make sure to provide supporting documents to support the info on the i-134.

No. I-134 must be original signature of petitioner. Tax return and W-2 or as in your case a 1099 can be copies. I-134 is NOT used by CFO.

My fiancee just completed the Interview in Manila with a scanned/printed copy of the I-134 and they accepted it.

The mail did not arrive in time for her to receive my originals and take with her so we took a gamble.

I would not suggest using the "copy" unless it's absolutely necessary....but, it did work!!

I did scan with a "blue" signature so that it would look original when printed out, BUT, this was not the reason it passed because she went ahead and informed them that it was a scanned copy and told them why.

Also...........I'm SELF Employed and all she gave them was 2013 tax return and the I-134.
