Admission of drug use at st lukes, is my visa automatically denied

I know of NO ONE that was denied a visa because of having "used drugs" years ago.   The OP for this topic is in the USA .. 

 

 

Just a few years ago it was common for a person to get lifetime ban from USA for admitting drug use in Medical Exam.

 

I want to say sometime between 2008 and 2011 that changed. No longer do they ban you, at one time I think they were making the person do a drug test or maybe have to do addition medical interview after they stopped the ban.  I don't know what the process is today.

There have been a fair number that have confessed to using drugs (recreational, not dealers) over the years I have been here on VJ .. none were denied on that basis.

... you must of completed your medical before the interview.  Which means you received your vaccinations and your medical file is heading to USEM.  The evaluation is part of the medical.
