So have waited the 5 months for processing for the I-129f and still nothing as I thought would happen. Our petition is at the Texas Service Center. USCIS is so frustrating to deal with as they deny there is any backlog or that the California Center seems to be processing petitions so fast. How accurate is Igor's list? According to their processing times it takes about a month to get processed in California whereas Texas is still stuck in December and not moving. My biggest question is why not spread the backlog out as every one's visa is important, the waiting times should be even.

I know it will be worth it in the long run but the waiting game is so frustrating as literally both my life and my fiance's life is on hold. Sorry for the venting, I just want answers and the wait to be over.

When I called them the first time, they said to call back after 5 months.

So I waited for full 5 months and called back, and they said to call back

beginning of next month (which would have been June/2014),

but when I checked the web site before I tried to call them on June 2,

it showed that it was approved.

Look at my timeline (from TSC).

You filed about 2 months after me, and I got my NOA2 on June 2,

so I suspect you'll get your's beginning of August 1.

I understand your frustration. I checked the processing times and Igor's List today and had a complete meltdown. California's processing time is 2 months, at most. Does anyone know if we can some it a petition to our local Congressman and complain about the processing time? If there is a backlog there must be a way to complain to someone with authority about this. Please advice.

I wrote to my congressman 2 weeks ago. I got a reply last week saying that he'd look into it & contact me when the uscis replies to his inquiry about the discrepancy between the two centers. There's a bunch in January contacting media outlets. I think it's a good idea...

Yea I have gotten in touch with the senator and Congressman in NC just to bring to their attention the backlog and try to get cases moving. They have actually been prompt in their response and have inquired, but the USCIS kind of does the same thing with them where they give them answers that don't answer anything... Still trying. I feel bad for all the people who filed before and after me too. It's so frustrating to every one. When I called USCIS and asked why Texas was so backlogged they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and told me it wasn't. They also told me California is not any faster and they take 5 months too. That's why I was wondering how accurate Igor's list was. I just can't understand why they don't transfer backlogged cases to spread out the backlog and get things moving again.
