K1 April Filers - A Look Back

Hello everyone I wanted to create a fresh and new idea to the Visa Journey Forums. I have noticed that all the "state month here" filers only talk about the procedures and asking amongst each other about when everyone filed their petition.

Which is why I want to create this new HOT topic! This is my edition of "A Look Back." I want all of the K1 April Filers to share their stories and tell us how your Journey is going. Better and faster than expected? Slow and dwelling? Whether we are at the NOA2 or to getting an RFE, we are a lot further in the process than we initially filed in April.

Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

And this is the time that we haven't receive any

Your timeline is similar to ours! We know what you are going through but keep your head up. Us April Filers will go through this Journey together!

I have a few tips you guys can do. If you have not checked the USCIS Case Update in a while you should try checking it. Maybe you may have gotten an approval!

I did checked it but it says the same thing I haven't seen

You should try calling them and ask them what is going on. Then if you are approved you will get the NOA2. Then they will send it to the NVC.

But let me tell you, I call them. There answer was that the case it ok, that iI need to wait 5 months for the NOA2. But I've seen ppl with there NOA 2 already and they didn't wait not even 4 months... I think I'm not lucky ?

Trust me you will get there. Just takes some patience. If you look at our timeline we got an RFE and we were so upset.

If you do not get any RFE you should breeze right through

April 29th filer here! I have a different problem than most. My application was processed to quickly. I have my interview in 6 days! Thats been the longest wait, 2 months for an interview date. At this stage we are considering waiting until November to move to the USA but still working things out. We were not expecting this to only be an 80 day process.

Good luck guys, it will go quickly once ur NOA2 comes!

April 4th- package delivery confirmation

April 9th- NOA1 received

and we haven't heard anything else... I'm worried because our package went to Texas Service Centre.. and I've been hearing how slow it is...

Hi, April filer here. We filed our paper work on 4/25/14 and recieved our NOA1 5/2/14. We have not heard anything as of yet. I checked our status and it says in initial review. Our case is at TSC and from what I am seeing they are behind. I know it takes alot of patience for this process but it gets so stressful. I feel like my life is on hold but I know it will be worth it in the end.
