Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I am almost 100% positive that there is no IV form. There is the IV package that has to be sent out once the IV fee is paid but I don't think there is one specific form like there was for the AOS package (I-864). :)

Hummm I thought there was a form to fill out for the IV. Ok ty :) So sweet of you to answer me. (F)(L)(F)

Dear Soloenta, sweet heart....after you pay the IV you send your IV package , the 260 is the form you need to fill out online. I hope this helps! :luv:

Thank you Marcelita dear. :D(F) (L) (F)

The IV Form is the DS-260.

Bless your heart, thank you so much I thought so but wasn't sure. From what I had been reading I though it was two different things. God bless you for making it clear as a bell. :D(F) (L) (F)

Saylin....any suggestions as to what to do? they check listed for original marriage certificate...... wen i send in a certified copy with watermark from the marriage bureau where we got the original

You can get as many originals as you want for about 20 rupees each. Just send the original and still keep bugging NVC.

Ok stupid question. I have searched/read and can't find the answer.

My AoS and IV fees were available at the same time (using a lawyer). I paid them. My AoS/IV packages were sent out this week (DS260 completed also) and the packages are due to arrive tomorrow. How do I find out when the two packages are "scanned"? Via email? By calling the NVC? I assume I should give them a few days to scan them or are they scanned upon delivery?

Thanks...

call around Wednesday/Thursday of next week. Ask them for a case status. If they say that they received a package on such and such date.. that means they scanned your documents on that date.

Did people get case complete ???? ( scanning date June 3rd) any updates?? Nvc should work in the weekends. They are taking 3 -4 days to finish 1 day scanned docs. So my guess is it is going to take 1.5 month to get a cc. Guys why can't we all write a complaint ... Like we did before at the uscis stage.. Any ideas guys. This process is stressful

Wait to hear back from the supervisor. If you don't hear anything by the end of next week, then send the original so as not to waste any more time.

OMG! Just checked and my AOS fee has changed to N/A!!

Will have to wait another 7 hours till NVC opens for business again to phone them to check if my case is complete, but it looks promising, right?

For those wondering, we got checklisted for AOS and the new documents we sent them were scanned on June 4th. Today is the 26th business day.

Fingers crossed for good news once I can call them!

Saylin, if you married in 2014 then filing status for 2013 tax returns will be "filing as single" correct?

you have to be married on the last day of December 2013 or before to file as married with the 3 options ( hoh, mfj. mfs) if you get married in 2014 you must file 2013 as single.

Hi gang! Glad to see the second round of interview scheduling for august has started!

Called NVC today and found out that they have "scanned" our EP packages. I was worried that their dates would start from when they actually opened the emails, but it seems that they've registered them as having been received the day after we sent them, so June 9 and June 24.

Our 30 business days on the AOS package is upon July 22, but we're leaving on our big road trip on the 21st, so I really hope we get some news on that before we leave. It will be much easier to respond if we (heaven forbid) have a checklist on the AOS if we're not in some random town in Montana when we get it!

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow!

Is your timeline updated?
