I'd legally entered the US, suddenly starting to get professionals opportunities to work as IT Engineer. I currently have my US social security since I'd obtain in the past my college degree in the US. My question is: If I've interest in this opportunities can I applied? If so, what type of employment can this be. Thank you.

Depends on what visa you entered with. Do you have a green card or current EAD?

I was wondering the same.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Legally entered with what visa ? Legal entry on tourist visa (my assumption) has zero connection with being able to work. Fact you have SSN number is irrelevant as well. You can always apply for whatever you want, but if you are not legally able to work in US and your employer is not willing to sponsor you, than applying will be nothing more than waste of time.

You can apply for jobs.

You would need an Employer who would be willing to sponsor you at not insignificant cost and go through a length process.
