Hello VJers!

I married a foreigner in 2011 but things didn't work out at all..She turned into a total different person after we got married; so I moved out in March 2013 (we both signed a separation agreement) then got divorced in April 2014 (the state of NC requires to live separated and apart for one year before divorce).
I'm a USMC Veteran and I've been dating another foreign girl since I moved out (March 2013). I met her when I was deployed in France 4 years ago, we were both working at the US embassy in Paris. We've already met each others families and traveled multiple times to spend time together. We're engaged, I'm about to file a 1-129F fiancé petition. (I'm 29 and she's 24)
My question is: Will my previous marriage affect my fiance application? I'm just worry that the USCIS get suspicious and give us a hard time because of my divorce. Should I hire an attorney before filing anything?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
PS: I filed an I-130 petition for my former wife in 2011, she didn't get her 10 years green card because of our divorce (I'm assuming) she's currently a temporary legal resident.

It won't affect your petition at all.

The only thing that the previous marriage will affect is your affidavit of support - you'll still have to include the ex wife so that will make your household of 3 for the AOS.
