Its before tax, and no you shouldn't be worried. As long as you are over 125% you are fine.

Just to clarify, what is the guideline for 1 person household?

It's gross income, Line 22 on your 1040.

Just to clarify, what is the guideline for 1 person household?

There is no household of 1. If you have no dependents, then the least is could be is a household of 2, you and your fiance(e).

Use your gross(before taxes) current annual income. Your weekly gross income multiplied by 52 or bi-weekly gross pay multiplied by 26. Use a letter from employer and recent pay stubs to prove your current income amount.

If self-employed, then the income amount will be based on line 22 of your most recent 1040.
