Do USCIS update with email if they send to NVC?

Hi guys do USCIS usually email for update when they send it to NVC? My wife i130 got approved may 30 but when i called NVC they still dont have it on file and when i check status in uscis it says post decision approved. Do ghey email you if they send it to nvc?

Its still very soon, It takes about 4 to 8 weeks to get your petition from USCIS to NVC. It's only been 16 days so just call like once a week. It goes from NVC receives it then you wait for case#.

No they do not send you an email when they send it.

As Dwheels has said, it takes up to 8 weeks to get moved over to the NVC.

The petitioner can call the USCIS however, speak to a tier 2 and ask where the petition is and when was it sent.

I'm in the same boat. My i-130 got approved today. USCIS 'my case status' says they mailed us a notice of the approval. Will probably ask 'the hubby'to call USCIS. So I guess we gotta wait 4 weeks before we start calling NVC?

Hi when my wife's I-130 was approved on may 16th it wasn't mailed out till may 30th then when nvc receives it it's another 30 days to process your #

When did you get noa2? Im already sign up for that hopefully, ill get text soon. Anyway im reading my noa2 it says there that they sent it to nvc. Does your noa2 says that too?

Fyi post decision status doesn't actually mean it has left the USCIS and gone to the NVC.

yes I got a text just says that they're sending out to nvc but when nvc receives is another story just start calling them 2 weeks after you get approved to find out when they received it that's what I did
