I will of been in the USA 90 days on the 9th of June under VPW. I have sent in my AOS package but I haven't received an email to say they've relieved it yet. What will my status be after the 9th?

It might be a silly question but I am interested to know.

From date of 90 days expiration until they issue the initial receipt of filing? No status.

After issuance of receipt of filing I-485? AOS-pending or "adjustment applicant." Not a real status, per se, but a period of authorized stay.

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

2/06/13: APPROVED!

It matters a great deal and may be questioned at the time of your interview. If you had an immigrant intent at the time of entry on a visa waiver, then you misrepresented yourself and will require a waiver. If you changed your mind after entry thenthere is no problem

I had no intentions of immigrating to America, I loved my life in the uk - just not as much as I love my partner, so I had to say yes when I was proposed to, I have a lot I'm going to have to miss, important things.

My partner received an NOA this morning via email. I'm just waiting for mine :)

I had no immigration intent, I am not worried about the interview process and I have not a single thing to hide. They will see that when I have the interview.

Does not matter either way, not something that would arise.

The interview is about other issues.
