Did you apply for EAD? If you did you should be getting one pretty soon according to other timelines :-)

Yes I did! And today it changed to "Card Production" all of a sudden!

I am glad I can really apply to any job now... hopefully I will get the interview appointment soon too :-)

No email or text notification this time either! haha

What visa are you adjusting from?

You may not have the interview at all :) I guess it means you just gonna get the green card :)

We had our biometeics at same date and the changing to "testing and interview" almost jn the same day, I hope my ead go to "production" this week

Yaay! That's great news. Do you have an account with USCIS? They only send texts/emails the first time with your case number then you have to sign up with them in order to be notified. The website is a bit old school. I just find odd that you are not being notified via text/email

Quick update folks,

I just received emails from USCIS:

I-131: Post Decision Activity

On August 13, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I-765: Card/Document Production

On August 13, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Long story:

For those that don't know -

  • July 22:nd, I requested to expedite my I-131/I-765.
  • July 30:th I called USCIS to check what's going on and got the information both my expedite requests got denied the 25:th. The USCIS rep was really helpful tho and looked at the denied expedite requests - he said there was no information to why I wanted to expedite - that's probably why it was denied. He told me it should have been filed with more info so I asked him to file a new one with more info. This time he included that I had an offer standing by and that I had tickets to visit family abroad and it was urgent.
  • August 1:st, I received an email (for expedite I-131 request) stating USCIS needed more information to process my case. I should include a offer letter and/or any other information that could help my case. I faxed this in right away (faxZero.com is great) with a cover letter stating Attn details (included in email) and some more info together with both I-131 and I-765 case number & expedite request reference numbers. I also attached the Offer letter and my tickets to visit family with my wife.
  • August 8:th, I received a hard copy letter for my I-765 expedite request - requesting the same things as the I-131 email. I called USCIS but they were not helpful (not even Tier 2 IO's).
  • August 11:th I decided to fax the same information with the same cover letter (but with the different Attn information as per the I-765 hardcopy letter)
  • August 13:th - Today - I contacted the immigration representative at my local Congress Woman's office (Jackie Speier) - filled out the Personal Release Form, but had not emailed it in yet - before I received my two emails for both I-131 & I-765.

I am sure it's a coincidence - but it sure makes your mind wander.... :)

For those thinking to expedite. Make sure you have an offer letter. Be persistent - call USCIS every day to check if any information has been mailed out in case you don't get any emails - or even if you get emails if you applied for more than one case and only got emails for one case. Be on top.. :)

Naturalization (Eligeble for Naturalization 07/16/2017) - Package send out late, not sure I was going to send it out before or after ROC approval.
[07/29/2017]: Day 00 - Full package sent to Phoenix, AZ lockbox using Fedex 3 day.
[08/02/2017]: Day 04 - Package arrived, signed by E.Dejesus.
[08/02/2017]: Day 04 - NOA
[08/07/2017]: Day 09 - Check cashed

I am adjusting from F-1, so I don't think I can skip the interview but we will see!

From what I saw, those who are skipping interviews are the ones who are adjusting from K-1.

(The card production is only for EAD, not green card, in case you misunderstood)

Oh I didn't know that I had to sign up for it again! I totally thought that G-1145 was for getting updates throughly, not only the beginning.

Weirdly though, my husband got the paper notification for changing the address, but I didn't... they are not consistent for sure!

Yep I misunderstood, but still there is always a chance :)

I know personally two people who were adjusting from B1/B2 and had no interview so...

Just received text and email that our I-130 has moved from Acceptance to Initial Review.

I was hoping that it would've been an update telling us the EAD Card was being shipped!!!

Yeah their system is down.

Even though I changed my address, it seems like my EAD got mailed to the old address :-(

I was supposed to get it yesterday and now it says "undeliverable."

USPS couldn't help me with it so I called USCIS, but the lady said the system is down so they can't check anything.

Does anybody know if USPS hold your undeliverable mail for any longer than a day? or do they just mail it back right away?
