They will do both. You will be e-notified and receive an actual approval notice in the mail. Do not lose that notice. The NOA2 is needed later for AOS.

Hi, everyone,

How will they notify me of NOA2, by postal mail or email?

Thanks!

NOA2 will be mailed and it looks like this: http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/albums/Immigration/I-129F-NOAs/NOA2.jpg

If you have signed-up for e-notifications, you will also be notified by email/text, but not the NOA2 itself.

Edit: Yes, just what Kay posted. :)

Hi, everyone,

How will they notify me of NOA2, by postal mail or email?

Thanks!

If you included G-1145 in your packet, usually they will send you e-notification via email and text. But based on my experience, I had only received via email and text for NOA-1. I found out my approval for NOA-2 through USCIS website. So, it is better to check your case on the website by putting your receipt number.

You're welcome. CSC is pretty fast in recent months. So you are one of lucky fellows on VJ. Congrats!

Put your receipt number on the box. The receipt number is on your NOA-1. See the picture below.
