Was driving along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Our plan had been to go visit Canada for a bit. Just so my wife could see another country. While it was 80 degrees back in the Twin Cities, it was cold and foggy all along the North Shore, low 50's. We were about 50 miles from the border when we decided to say screw it, because we were not going to want to be outside to grill up dinner up in those conditions anyway. So we drove all the way back along the north shore, got 20 miles away from the lake and its in the 70's finally and sunny.

heh...I am leaving on the 6th for NB and staying for a couple of days possibly longer....depends on who fast I can get an apartment and contract going...I feel it too.....MIL is increasingly annoyed at the fact that I do stuff around the house and Tim is getting frustrated cause he realized I don't give a damn anymore and he missed the boat so to speak.

I don't need to hide out or run....I did nothing wrong. It is far enough....in two weeks time I am going there and 2 weeks after that...I am gone. Hubs still despite of all of this says "well once I move to NJ you will see...you will be surprised" I seriously don't get it anymore.

I dunno....is this some psychological thing I dont get......of course I am acting differently now....it has been months on end of #######....and so now he has stuff to complain about and blames all of it on me essentially...i dont do this and dont do that and i am like....uh yes I dont....because i have had enough....so you want me to go back to whatever i was like before so you dont have to worry and I can stay unhappy ? like wth....

suggestion using the advanced search tool today, finding/reading rlogan 's posts about emotional blackmail - it'll take half a day - use nothing for the search terms - only the member name, clicking on 'display as posts'. There's a book reference in there as well. In the end, it doesn't change the blackmailer, but it gives you new tools to circumvent further disasters.

I don't know. I told him to do whatever he feels he needs to. It won't make a difference to me. My bad side is that I keep trying until I say "enough" and it is done. And I have said enough. He can move with me, he can even start doing things for himself but the benefits of him becoming an adult, responsible and ready to handle issues of real life.....those will be for someone else to reap not me.
