I am just curious. Why do people attempt to make a walk-in biometrics when there are appointments given? Is there that much urgency one cannot wait for the appointed time?

I do not possess any evidence to support my hypothesis; I believe that the case will move faster if they have all the information available. Therefore, people such as myself, will do an early walk-in/try to accomplish an early walk-in for the Biometrics.

Received my letter today, will swing by the office tomorrow at some point in time and give it a try. St. Paul ASC office that is. I will be close enough to just stop by and politely ask to have it done.

ROC Packet delivered 2/24/2017 - GC Expiration 5/20/2017.

i'm trying to do my biometrics early so that i can request an expedite for my EAD should i get a job offer. they cannot approve an expedite without the biometrics being completed first. also, my appointment date is on a day that my fiance works, so we are going to try on one of his days off instead (tomorrow).

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Stopped by the St. Paul ASC today, seemed like a slower day at the office. There were three people in line and thus my walk-in was successful.

Now on to waiting for Approval, Interview or whatever might be further down the road for me.
