Seems they never applied for anything related to USCIS.

That's right, and that was mentioned near the beginning of the thread.

So my wife has always insisted that the marriage in Jamaica was not real and didn't receive a marriage certificate I was looking through some paper work tonight and discovered her marriage certificate from Jamaica.

My wife is abusive but she will have anyone believe that she is innocent.

I started AOS saw a lawyer and had a medical then my wife sent in the paper work to immigration. Guess what a year later, I found all that paperwork in one of her drawers it never got sent. I used to get all excited everyday waiting for the mailman to come, hoping there was news from immigration, she must have been laughing behind my back all the while.

Nope, my immigration didn't get done. Obama is my only hope to get a path to staying.

Yes, I've been working in the construction industry this year, already have a ITIN form. Formed a partnership with 2 local contractors to remodel 100+ homes for a large Jewish consortium from New York.

ITIN does not give you work authorisation.

If they would even bother to prosecute.

I did a quick google search and there hasn't been a bigamy case prosecuted in the US in some 60 years.

Untrue. There have been a lot of arrests for bigamy. As for prosecution, there was a bigamy conviction in Maryland fairly recently.

For the OP, everyone is right - you need a lawyer asap - immigration and family. There is a lot of fraud here in so many ways. We are missing pieces of the puzzle here but you are far beyond the help for self help and DIY.

In addition, if you have a valid marriage certificate, you are going to need an annulment on the grounds of bigamy, among many other things. If you don't get an annulment, you yourself would potentially have legal issues in the future if you remarry. You need the nullification legally recognized by the courts and state and you will likely need the annulment decree as part of any attempt to stay in the US.

Perjury is an issue - the question is is it both of you or just her? It depends on who exactly filled in the paperwork.

Get an immigration lawyer immediately. And you may need multiple lawyers depending on the path this takes.

John, despite the fact that you aren't legally married, you should still file for divorce or annulment and try to get child custody through that, if you want it. Don't continue to live with this person. Good luck.

A large "Jewish consortium"? OMG, are you serious? Talk about politically incorrect...Now I've seen everything on this thread.

I seen nothing wrong with Jewish consortium. Perhaps it is religiously related building for a charity or Jewish owned corporation. Not any more politically incorrect than LGBT. It is not derogatory in anyway in my perception. Harpa?

Heck, the guy has a job legally which I think is great. How many millions of illegals are here working and not paying taxes? How many millions of immigrants are here not working and getting welfare? I hope he is paying a boatload of taxes. :)

He does not have a job legally, his 'wife' never filed.

But don't you see. He can't be working legally. That's part of the PROBLEM.

WTH is wrong with that? I'm Jewish and I am not in the least bit offended.
