My fiance received a CD at his Visa Interview after he was approved, they said it was of his lung x-ray. Is this normal? Does everyone get these? He wasn't called back for any abnormalites after his medical exam.

It's a secret message from MI6 and it will self-destruct after the message is received.

No, just kidding. It is 100% normal.

That did not take long.

The beneficiary didn't give the embassy the CD containing the x-ray. Knightsbridge who carry out the medicals passes this onto the embassy and once you are approved it is handed to the beneficiary at the embassy as it is no longer required by the embassy.

To the OP - Please stop spamming the forum with tons of questions which you could of easily performed a search for.

So should he take this CD with him when he comes to America?

Why is there not a facepalm smiley..?

The X-Ray is valid for 6 months from the date of the medical, just like the visa is. It is up to yourselves if you take the CD with you or not. It can be given to the doctors practice you join but as already advised it is only valid for 6 months from the date of the medical.

Why do I feel there will be a follow up question of 'so should he take it' coming soon...
