Hi there. I'm the beneficiary for CR-1 Visa. I'm about to send my completed and signed G-325a's to my husband in California. I am considering to include other docs to save us some cash. But I wonder what documents will he need to send to USCIS or NVC in the future (which I can possibly send as early as now).

Since I'm the beneficiary, do I need to send him my police clearance and NBI clearance? Or am I the one who will need to send it to NVC/USCIS?

Thanks for your help!

You don't really want to obtain your NBI clearance this far in advance, as it could be too old by the time it is needed. If you already have it, fine. After the petition is approved, is the time to get the NBI clearance and the NSO certificate showing no other marriage than the current one. These last two documents should not be obtained too early.

Yes you can send it.. Include nso copy of your marriage certificate and birth certificate too.. Passport pictures too..

Nbi is valid for a year..

Anyways it will be same amount for sending with or without the other documents...

Just secure a copy upon interview too

Isnt the cenmar needed only at the interview?

CEMAR, yes, needed at the interview only, as long as the NSO marriage certificate has been submitted to NVC. While an NBI clearance is technically good for a year, it is still not advised to obtain this early. It's "validity period" is not the issue. Fresh is best.
