Phone number help? Which extension did you put? (merged)

I searched forums, so very sorry if this question has been answered. Sorry it's such a silly question, too!

I am currently filling out the I-129f forms for the K-1 fiance' visa. Question 30. asks for my foreign fiance's day time phone number. We are both very confused. My fiance' is from England, so the phone number would add a "0" for the extension. Calling from the USA, however, you would add "44". Which do we put as the extension? Has anyone had this problem yet? I'm so sorry it's such a silly question, but we want to make sure we fill it out absolutely right :3

Yes, all UK numbers begin with a zero, which is dropped for the prefix of 44 when calling from outside the UK.

In fact, you can dial the same 44 prefix number from within the UK and still connect, so by putting this full version of the number you are covering both bases.

Enter it as "+44 (area code minus the leading 0) (phone number)

For example, if I wanted to put my Dad's Birmingham number in I would write:

+44 121 123 4567

Do you have to include the +? I wrote out 011 followed by my fiances number
