FORM I-134 Expiration date.

Hello my fellow VJ-ers!!

I'm just quite confused and bothered about the expiration date of the Form I-134 (affidavit of support). I received my fiance's Form I-134 last March 8,2014. Then I noticed at the top right corner of the paper there's this OMB NO. and Expiration date. Please see attached.

Question:

Do we need to fill up a new one? Maybe the USEM will consider it expired. My interview will be on May.

It couldn't hurt to have a completed copy of the newest form ready to go, on the off chance they give you any issues about it (which they probably won't).

Current version of the form expires in 2016, the older version are still acceptable though ... you are good to go

Nervous? No one is ever nervous for the interview...

- during the interview; 1) smile, 2) be self assured and confident with your answers, 3) look the CO in the eyes when speaking.

If your relationship is genuine and all the documentation is there 3-5 minutes later you will be waiting for the last window to verify delivery, then walking out the door smiling.

And yes it is fine that your fiance is there with you. I was there with my fiancee and it was a great experience that I will never forget.

Thank you Mr. Hank. Is it really mandatory to put captions of all the pics that we had? Like if I have 500 plus plus pictures, do i need to caption it one by one?

You don't need 500 pictures to prove your relationship. Just select 12 pictures of the two of you together, you and he at family gatherings and with you family members. They don't spend much time on the pictures.

If your fiancée is going to be there with you have him walk up to each of the CO's and that should be enough of proof that you have a relationship and pictures will not be needed.

I attended my fiancé's interview and there was no questions about a relationship. They did not ask about pictures. In and Out in 5 min with each CO.
