my husband sent i-130 yesterday April 9 2014 and we tracked USPS and it arrived to phoenix as at 10:42 am. I hope all will be good and best for us.#hopingtobewith#lovedones#soon?✈??

It is certainly nice to know others are going through this with me. You feel so alone sometimes bc no one else understands what you're going through and what's all involved. I haven't received my email yet. Is that unusual? They got my pkg Monday

I received my email from the USCIS at just after midnight! Yippee

Though I know this is only the first step in a long journey, I was still thrilled to see it. Mine was sent to Chicago lock box and now it's on to Nebraska! Can't wait to actually see my case info on uscis website!

Please no RFE's!!!

Did you resend your package? Ugh, I signed up for case updates last night and can't believe there's really nothing else for me to do for months now until something happens. Haha! This will be tough.

I've read it's about a couple of days. You'll definitely be able to check it when you get your hard copy. Also yes, the RFEs would come from NSC in your case, which is part of USCIS.

Yes, I resent everything today - passport sized photos included and meticulously checked twenty times. It should arrive Monday morning, so I am feeling much better.

On a side note, I am so impressed with FedEx. Firstly, I had no idea destroying a package in transit was even an option! And secondly, I realized that as of this morning, their website said my package was on the truck and being delivered. I called the customer service number and asked what the situation was and the representative immediately escalated the call to her manager who called the dispatch center who in turn called the driver of the truck! He pulled my package and it was eveually shredded back at the sorting facility. Talk about customer service! I don't mail much, but they have definitely earned a lifelong customer!

Thanks! I feel less weird now. Yeah, mine is LIN and BB is 14 indeed so I knew some of the information on that page was correct. We probably have similar numbers. Also haha, I had the exact same thought process as you ("EEEE is high in the example picture too!") but then I realized the number in the example is 0123456789.

TSC is still saying 6.4 months. Am I reading this wrong?

Yes, the average for TSC is still 6.4 months. Not all the Service Centers have met the goal of 5 months yet (the national average is still 5.5 months). The number is just an average anyway, I'm not sure it actually means anything at this point (but I'm hoping it does).

Hey guys, I know it's early but I made a spreadsheet for us April filers. It's like the one the other months' filers use -- still very much an alpha version but once you have your NOA1 you can fill in your data by completing the form linked there. There don't seem to be that many of us right now but I figured it'll be a nice thing to have later on when we start seeing approvals if we keep it updated.

My husband and I both live overseas in the Netherlands, DCF is not possible here, so we send it to Chicago Lockbox. We received NOA1 (email) on the 7th of April. Our case has been routed to California Service Center. Now we are patiently waiting for NOA2...Hopefully it will be a smooth (and praying for a quick) process. Good luck everyone!

Hello all!

Not sure if this the right forum lol but well Im a newbie here so please be patient haha

Well my husband filed the I 130 alony with the one for adjustment of status and employment authorization (he is a us citizen, I came here on a visitors visa but overstayed) and well we sent the packet on the 12th... I cant wait to hear from them as I did not sign up for the email updates I will have to wait until I get the noa1 to add it to the online portfolio.... Good luck to everyone
