I mailed my I-129F on 3/3, it shows signed for on 3/5 and my payment has cleared. But despite filling out G-1125, I have not received any texts, emails, or regular mail / I-797C.

3 weeks seems like a long delay. Has anyone else had this kind of delay or should I be worried? I emailed lockboxsupport@dhs.gov but they don't seem to answer.

Sometimes even those that provide the G-1145 do not receive e-notification. It was received and your check cashed, so it is lost. They have it. It can take up to 30 days to receive the receipt notice by mail. Luckily, the receipt notice (NOA1) is not needed for anything else along the way. You can try and call the USCIS to see if you can find out your receipt number in order to follow your case status online.

In my case, I received the text/email right away, but the letter came few weeks later.

That's is concerning. We are supposed to be one of the best countries in the world,

but our system and workers pretty sub par.

This is pathetically frustrating to not have a clue as to actual status of your application.

Often it's like a black hole.

In any case, I would call USCIS right away just to be sure.

Thanks everyone! I called USCIS today and got my case #. Its so confusing -- web help and even the first person I spoke to on the phone agreed you should contact them if no email/text after 10 days, but other places and the second level person they passed me to say 30 days (he was nice though, still gave me case # and everything just said "You should know it can take 30 days to receive this"). [i guess 10 days refers to G-1125 notice and 30 days to snail mail, and it seems the 1125 notice is not very reliable based on some other posts I've seen].

Now I can sit and wait forever for the webpage to update like everyone else :) I know this is just the beginning! But I do feel a little better having an official # and confirmation the app is in the system. Like most of you I'm trying to avoid being _too_ anxious throughout this process.
