Hello Vjs....am at the Nvc stage en putting things in order.althou my husband sent my original birth certificate en marriage certificate while Applying at the USCIS STAGE....What will we send with IV package???What do we do next??

Service Center (which your I-130 was approved from)

NOA2 date-6th Jan (TSC)

Date NVC received your case -28th Jan

Date case number was assigned-14th March

Date AOS package was sent out-18th March

Date IV package was sent out

Date DS-260 was completed

You need to be following the NVC filers thread. Read post #1 and #2.

Whatever you submitted to USCIS doesn't matter. They only required copies. NVC must be originals or certified copies of the original so you will have to get new copies.

NVC is very thorough and picky so do read the post. NVC has changed alot since September.

Sending the original birth certificate to USCIS was a major error because USCIS only requires photocopies of such documents. You need to go to the issuing authority and obtain another document.

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file

September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent

What do u mean i need to get another one????i thot USCIS sent those documents to NVC???Pliz,has anyone gone thru this situation??

You need to go and obtain another original birth certificate and marriage certificate because USCIS does not send anything to NVC and you were required to send photocopies at USCIS stage.

Do not panic, I'm sure it's not that hard to obtain a birth certificate and a marriage certificate. You will be fine.

because USCIS does not send anything to NVC

Incorrect, if USCIS approves a petition, they will send the file and its contents to the NVC. However, NVC personnel will not thumb through the file looking for documents. They will simply require new ones.
