Hi everyone,

My fiance's interview is tomorrow morning (10:30-London time) at the Embassy in London. Just a little over 6 hours. I hope everything goes well, and the interview is as smoothly as everyone has said it is.

We've been waiting for this day for what feels like forever! He plans to book his flight over as soon as he has his visa in his hand. He's hoping (me too!) that he'll be here on Friday, but of course it depends when he receives his visa. His birthday is on Saturday. Our wedding is set for April 1st. I've been planning pretty much all of it by myself.

We are so ready to be together. Good luck to everyone else as you go through this process. I find that people generally have a difficult time understanding what it's like unless they've been through it. We've been apart so much that I won't take him for granted.

October 7, 2006: AOS Packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox via FedEx (I-485, I-130, I-765)

October 10, 2006: Package reived in Chicago

October 23, 2006: Checks cashed

November 1, 2006: I-130 and I-765 touched

November 2, 2006: I-485 touched--email notification about RFE letter on the way.

December 2006: Biometrics

January 2007: EAD Card

July 10, 2007 @ 9 a.m.--AOS Interview in West Palm Beach, FL...APPROVED!!!

K-1/K-2 VISA'S APPROVED IN MONTREAL MAY 2, 2005

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

My Interview is at 8.30am on the 8th March at the Embassy in London also so good luck to your fiancee and I too hope you will be together very soon and he can see the fruits of all your efforts in arranging the marriage. We all suffer through this kinda thing and I sometimes wonder what has kept myself and my fiancee going all these months but yknow what? its cause we have found the love for another that one rare connection in life that we feel we just cant let go of despite the stresses hardships worry and expense we just soldier on right to the final bell. Anyone who has not experienced all this will never understand but those that have will have a relationship that has already been well and truly tested to the limits and that is something that most entering into a relationship in normal circumstances dont experience until they have been married some time and that then can often be a turning point. So God Bless you both good luck and here's to all the VJ'ers on here because we are now Family by association. :):D:dance::dance::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::star:
