Well basically I've booked a lads holiday for June this year to Vegas, at the time of booking obviously excited just booked on paid it off n can't wait. Comes to now and I realise I have to get an ESTA, so 6 years ago I go convicted for drink driving, won't go into that. Anyway a question on ESTA is...

... "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for an offense or crime involving moral turpitude or a violation related to a controlled substance; or have been arrested or convicted for two or more offenses for which the aggregate sentence to confinement was five years or more; or have been a controlled substance trafficker; or are you seeking entry to engage in criminal or immoral activities?". ...

So basically what I need help urgently on is do I answer yes or no if no it's fine easy going, if YES then I have to really crack on with getting a visa.

So as I say please help ASAP my minds panicking

Thanks

If you respond no, you'll more than likely get approved for the ESTA with no problems.

If you respond yes, you'll probably not be able to get the ESTA and have to get a b2 visa.

Also if you respond no, if you ever apply for another visa, it very well may come up that you lied for the ESTA, and you might have problems ever getting said visa.

What we call drunk driving, or a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) is not a Crime Involving Moral Turpitude (CIMT).

It's a holiday nothing more nothing less than that. I really just don't want to put no and suffer consequences whatever they might be. But everywhere I've read it says drink driving isn't an act of moral turpitude??? Just wondered if anyone could really sure that up

So all in all I can answer "no" to the question on ESTA and feel safe in the fact nothing would happen when I land and I will be admitted in to the country? Having read a few more forums and read up on what is a moral turptiube crime drink driving is not classed as one....
