Glad it went so well! Welcome to America! My fiance travelled by himself to come here, POE Philadelphia and he also had a pleasant experience with friendly people. There are both good and bad experiences with POE, being prepared for a difficult interview makes the pleasant one that much more of a relief IMO

I am happy your fiance had pleasant as well. I agree about good and bad experiences and that's why I had prepare for the worst case. But, what a big relieved afterwards.

In every job environments there are very wonderful

and kind people while at the same location you can

find those with a nasty disposition, glad you had a

great experience and welcome

Yes, you are right. I feel fortunate that people were nice during my K-1 process until POE.

Welcome to your new life in America. I am glad your experience went so well. It seems the passport officer felt some degree of kinship with your fiance due to military service. Don't know if that helped but it sure didn't hurt.

Thank you for the kindness words. I think you are right about the military things. My fiance explained to me that the officer probably feel some connection since both my fiance and the officer are working under US Department of Homeland Security - my fiance serving in US Coast Guard over 23 years by now-.

It is so great to hear """HAPPY""" stories for a change, it is quite refreshing, to hear something so nice!

We hear so much "negative" this is a delight to read! I am so glad for you both! Wish I was in the "Keys" also, such a terrible winter, here in the USA!

I shared this so other people can have a positive vibe about POE. Yes, it is pretty cold here in Key West specially for an island girl like me, content.gif .
