Hi EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally! After a couple of months of complete torture, my well sort of ex and I have finally decided that we really can’t be without each other and have decided to get back together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT feels amazing, after 2 months of completely feeling lifeless and sad and brooding and thinking about what could have been and what not, suddenly, for the past 24 hours I feel like someone has rekindled life into me, like life has a full meaning again....Its great isn’t it knowing that you will be with your special someone for the rest of your life! The one who completely understands you and shares the same soul kind of...feels you feel on top fo the world!

I am rambling.....For those of you who don’t know, we had applied for the K-1 a while back, but due to certain reasons called off our relationship end of October ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry530784). Both of us suffered a lot of heartache during the intervening period and it also made us realise how tiny/insignificant our practical problems really are compared to the necessity of being with that one person you share such a beautiful relationship with....

WOOOHOOOOOOO! I feel so elated knowing that we will be together soon and with each other for the rest of our lives soon....even my current poor health cant stop me from jumping from joy here! And my family keeps looking at my face here and commenting on the smile and glow on my face here the past 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We still haven’t decided whether we want to continue with the K-1 or maybe she comes to live with me (for my job) for sometime or what....there are many practicalities we need to discuss and figure out...soon....but we won't let that come in our way again.

I have been here, reading about some people's issues (non-visa related), where I learnt a lot from, and also enjoying the off-topic forum, which kept me amused and busy in my lonely times. So thank you everyone for that, and to my fellow VJers who I was in touch with and gave their support, you know who you are, especially JenT, a big big THANK YOU!

Hope to stay in touch here with everyone and contribute a bit more, as much as I can......

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..

1/22 Sending all paperwork(I-134,Bank/Employer letters etc..,)..to Veronica per DHL, 3.5lbs...$144 WOW!

1/25 Recieved notice that She needs to pick up my packet in Chisinau..

2/16 Transit Visa to go to Romania for the Interview approved..

2/20 Leaves for Bucharest overnight drive by bus...

April A friend told me that she thought my ideal man lived in Wyoming or Montana.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Thanks again everybody! Boht of us, having gone through a sort of a breakup these past two months, have realised that all other practical issues need to be resolved, because no matter what, we just can't afford to lose each other.

Steven, you are right that family pressure is very difficult to deal with and since in our case it is the main root cause of our other problems as well, we are lucky enough to realise that it is something to be dealt with rather than let it make our decisions for us, though we had enough other reasons for our issues during the past 2 months.

We are currently discussing ways to go froward from now, consdiering our situation.

Thank you, everybody, again, for your wishes....This was the best New year's present I could have got, it feels like a wonderful new lease to my life and I am sure we will never again spend another New year's away from each other...no matter what....That is something we have promised ourselves...
