Police Certificate and I-130 mistakes (split topic)

Okay i have a couple of questions not sure if its the right place to post ,but i can`t find clear answer to most questions

So do i need my Police Records for the NVC stage or the interview ? it seems to me like i need it for the Interview but i read that i need it for the NVC stage aswell ? i have no clue how long the Moroccan certificate is valid for ...and since i have duel citizenship and two different names I'm not sure if will get in trouble for that,my husband did mention that i have 2 different names in a letter while applying for the I130, in Morocco my name is I.LXXXXXX while in my German papers its NXXXXXX.I. LXXXXXX ,story was that my parents had to chose an extra name at the German Embassy to register my birth cause they could not tell if i was a female or male from my name??? Anyways my Passport and Birth certificate will have my German name on it and all other documents but my Police certificate will have the Moroccan one,i thought I'll just bring all my papers and let them decide

Also while looking at our I130 for Errors we did find a few mistakes ...my husband left some answers Blank instead of N/A and he also left questions 22. all blank and now we know that we should put in the Embassy that i will have my interview at in that section .

My last question is do we send a letter to the CSC with an updated I130 or just wait for an RFE ? i have been told just to wait for an RFE but when my husband called and asked they said to send a letter in but that was when it was a the NBC now its at the CSC hmm ,also my husband will be visiting me in 2 weeks for 10 days that should not be a problem right? i assume nothing will happen meanwhile and it will take a over a month just to get to the NVC ?

Sorry about all these questions ,but I'm quite lost with all the different answers .

And about your I-130, I personally don't think I'd send anything in, as the embassy will easily be chosen by 'them' ie I had put Calgary as that's my closest consulate, but the only one in Canada is in Montreal, and others assured me that USCIS will put the correct embassy in there. If you wish to ask more about it though, post that question in the I-130 process threads;

The documents are sent to the NVC with the IV package and any additional evidence. Documents would be the police certificates, birth certificate, copies of passports, another letter explaining the difference in names, etc. Moroccan documents are considered valid for 3 months, to my knowledge and research on VJ.

I think waiting for an RFE is best, by sending a letter, they might pull your file and set at the back of the line. But ask in the thread referenced by the other poster to be sure.

Maybe you can send them a letter to prevent getting an RFE but honestly we left a lot of blank spaces as well. It wasn't until I came on vj and found out that we should've actually written N/A. No RFE, approved last week ?

By the way I also had two names, my parents changed my name when I was 17. Just take all your papers and be ready. It's always better to be safe

Chances of a letter reaching them and being joined up with the petition is so slim you might as well say it doesn't exsist. If they RFE, they they RFE, but most of the time due to the beneficiary's address they can figure out what is supposed to happen in Q22. Just pay attention to when you get the approval notice that the file goes to the NVC (Department of State) and is not sent to the NRC (national records center) and that they don't assume you're adjusting status. You can't do anything to preemptive this, just pay attention and react if it happens wrongly. It will not hurt after approval for your USC spouse to call the USCIS and inquire when the file has been sent to the DOS and make sure it's indeed being sent to the NVC section of the DOS.

Get your police certificates done in any and all names. There should be a spot for any names used, in which, you would include your entire German name. Granted I've never seen a Moroccan police certificate so this is an assumption on my part.
