ya, but note - IRS automatically did this on you because of your age.

It's on you to get IRS sub-humans to change out to something else.

Best done in person, parents in-tow.

If there is lag, you might get a paper check in the end.

ok - new interesting stuff.

Last year, I picked up a burnt-out-house/property just north of downtown, converting the outside to be an organic micro-farm.

i do some outreach at UH-D, and I learned that there are students there that are homeless (learned this week).

So I've put together a small project with that office that tracks them, gonna provide free lodgings there in return for fixing up the place and attending the garden space. Sure, I'll get materials and tools for free (cause I know how) but after two years, I'm shifting them out and converting it to a regular rental property. I even got waivers from the City to do this.. omgz.

My wife has seen the property and worried that I own such a dilapidated thing. Of course, I point to my knee, and a calendar, and ask her - 'how to manage?' hahahaha... these calendars, I swear. [but thats another topic]

I'll be furnishing it with freecycle pick-ups, solely. Thinking to make a 501.c(3) on it, as well, soonish.
