My cousin will be our joint sponsor, but she's living in California and we're here in Virginia what form must she use? I864A or I864? she's confused and me as well ... thank you all for the help...

The cousin could not use the I-864A no matter if they did live with you. They are not a qualifying relative. It states who is eligible to use the I-864A in the form instructions.
