thanks dwheels..i researched and found out in Manila an appointment cofirmation printout is as good as an appointment letter..

Now it all comes down to if our medical has made it to the embassy in time for our interview..fingers crossed!

Not sure if I should post this in NVC or in Interview section but here is my question from NVC section:

Hi again, I have some annoying questions that relate to my earlier inquiry. So our plan is for me (the sponsor) to move to canada for a few months during this NVC/Interview process so that I can be with my wife. We have already submitted the AOS packet and are waiting on the IV Bill to be generated. Since I will be quitting my job in order to move I will need a co-sponsor which I already have since when we started the I130 process oh so long ago I was at university and only working part time (but we didn't use him when we submitted the AOS since I am now employed). I can easily prove domicile when it is time to come back as I have a permanent address here in California, my drivers license matches that address, as does my american bank accounts, retirement accounts, vehicle registration, etc. (I will also obtain an employment letter to help show I am moving back to california when the time comes).

So my question is when do we send in the new I864 for me and the co-sponsors I864 and supporting documents? Do we do that now or do we just show up with it at the embassy? Thanks!

the interview is set for end of march, but she had to go to business trip, and had to renew her passport as the current one expires in less than 6 months.

Do we need to submit any paper work? all the approved paperwork submitted was with her now (old) passport.

Or does she just take both to interview

Just bring the old and new to interview they will update their data.

Since you already submitted to NVC long as you don't get a checklist just bring updated information to interview.

Will they process it at the interview and approve or decline the beneficiary? Or will they schedule an additional interview for a later date while they process the new I864 ?

I just had an interview and my visa is approved!!

Some documents were not needed and returned.

But I think it's better be over prepared than not having documents needed.

Now I'm waiting for my passport.

Hello, We had are second interview on February 25. 2014. We now are waiting on the I-601 approval, Visa Journey needs a timeline of that, that would be sooo awesome, I tried to use the immigrate blog one, and it doesnt work. I cant get it to let me write in it. Anyway My husbands i-601 was sent out via FED EX on March 17, 2014 along with an EXPEDITE. Im curious to see how long this will take.

The officer said it could take 2-6 months for this part. Or possible more :/

Interview is on Monday and it cant come soon enough! If I need to change my address at this point would it just be better to keep the address the same, since I can still receive mail there?
