Any March 2013 filers still did not get NOA2?

Hello

I (US Citizen) filed I 130 for my wife in India and my filing date is March 12th 2013. I got a letter in the mail on Oct 31st that my case has been transferred to Nebraska Sevice Center. I still did not get NOA2. Just wondering if anyone else who filed on or before 12 March 2013 still waiting for NOA2?

I think, It seems too long for March filer. You should have called NSV or USCIS for current situation.

The uscis website says that Nebraska is (or was as of November 30, but these are the dates they use) processing march 20. Which means your petition is outside their dates, and they will follow up if you get in touch with them. You need to start making requests for information.

I called them many times but was always told the I was within 'processing time frame'. But on Friday, I was cleary out of the time frame. When I called them, I was told by the Immigration officer (not the customer service rep who answers the uscis customer service number) that an officer is looking at my application. Not sure what that means. When I asked him to put a service request, he said that its better to not do it at this stage because an officer has already been assigned to the case and if I do it now, it may cause delays. So I did not put a SR. Can any one confirm if this is true?

Put in the service request. Also, call/email your senators and congressman. There are people from March/Feb still waiting (like ME!) but you need to have the pressure on. Do not accept "someone is working on your case". That is not good enough. You should also contact the ombudsman.

I'm a January 2013 filer STILL waiting for NOA2. If they told you an officer has been assigned to your case that is good news.. and you should expect NOA2 soon. That is assuming they aren't telling you lies. Which they are fond of doing.

I am just trying to see if there is a pattern for the delays because some applications filed in April / May are getting approved but Jan applications are still pending.

Ya I'm a March filer my priority date is March 25 and still no answer I called immigration and the automated machine said wait a hundred and eighty Days from when the case was transferred

My husband filed for me, so it's spousal.

As far as I can tell, I haven't received my NOA2 because I was part of an unlucky group that of cases that got transferred to local offices. The local offices seem to operate according to their own agenda... which means ignoring I-130s because they don't normally process them.

I have contacted congressman, ombudsman, lawyers, went for infopasses, had service requests.. ... done everything.. and still nothing.
