I am already at the "Mailing/Permanent" address part of DS260. Under the Permanent Address part, it's asking me if i have an address in the US where i intend to live. The thing is, my husband is currently living in Hawaii but in March he will be PCS-ing to Florida. Should i answer NO? Or YES, and then put his Hawaii address? If i put his Hawaii address, it asks me if this is the address where i want my green card mailed.. Obviously the answer is no, then it asks me for another address for the green card but he doesnt have an address yet in Florida.

If my answer to the question "do you have an address in the US where you intend to live?" is NO, will that have a negative impact on my visa application?

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

01.14.2014 - AOS fee showed paid

01.15.2014 - IV fee billed; expedite approved

01.18.2014 - sent AOS package

01.22.2014 - IV fee showed paid; AOS arrived at NVC as per UPS (10:18am by FNU)

01.24.2014 - sent IV package

01.27.2014 - submitted DS-260; IV docs delivered to NVC as per DHL (10:52am by PETERS G)

01.29.2014 - CASE COMPLETE (via phonecall)

01.30.2014 - received checklist for Dutch Police Record (VOG) via email

01.31.2014 - left NVC, sent to embassy

02.04.2014 - received at embassy, READY as per CEAC

02.10-11.2014 - medical done, passed!

02.24.2014 - interview: APPROVED!!

02.27.2014 - Received SMS from 2Go, ready for pick up

02.28.2014 - visa on hand; CFO sticker

03.01.2014 - paid ELIS

03.06.2014 - POE Hawaii...Aloooohaaa! :)

04.10.2014 - 2yr green card received

I would use the Hawaii address for everything. Then file a change of address latter when you get the new address.

Oh and also add an attachment explaining the situation Sorry for the two posts when it could be one..

Thanks for the response.. Uhm where would i attach the explanation? As the ds260 is submitted online..

Husband's plan is to just use his friend's address in Florida for both permanent and greencard, then just change it later on. Will that be ok?

You dont need an attachment but when you move in the USA you have 10 days to submit an ar-11 and any sponsors must submit an I-865 of they move.

So is it ok if we use his friend's address in Florida for now? Or should it be the one he used for i864?

Put whatever address you husband is using for his I-864 IMHO

One last question, how about for the mailing address for the green card? Coz im pretty sure he wont be in Hawaii anymore when the green card arrives :/

You can adjust that when you POE and make sure there is a mailing address on the ELIS.
