Please help! We receive a letter via email from you after our interview, it says that "We are unable to complete the processing of your immigrant visa application under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended, until you present the following documents or complete required action from your end: From Petitioner - Affidavit of Support (I-864) with original signature - Signed letter of explanation and legal basis for not filing Income Tax Returns From a Qualified Joint Sponsor - Affidavit of Support (I-864) with original signature"..

We already send the documents needed via 2GO, we went there yesterday .. The question is we send the Affidavit of Support from our Petitioner and also her Signed letter of explanation and legal basis for not filing income tax, but we didnt send an Affidavit of Support from our Joint Sponsor because our joint sponsor is related to our petitioner, they are belong as a household member of the Petitioner, so they just decided to make an I-864a Contract Between Sponsor and household member.. Is it valid and okay??

Thank you all. Sharing my wife's interview experience. She got to the embassy at 5.50am, queue on a line with her medical on hand. The first batch of the interview was 6.30am and she was asked to remain on the line till the 7am batches were call. She was asked to open the medical package in the presence of the embassy security. She was allowed inside by 7am and was asked to go to a window to submit the medical. she was later instructed to listen to the called numbers and go to whoever call her and she did.she was called by an African American lady the interview goes as follows:

Who petition for you?

What is his name?

Where does he live?

How did you met?

Where does he work?

How did he traveled?

When did he traveled?

How do you communicate with eachother

How does he perform his financial responsibility

Do you have any picture?

After looking at the pictures she brought out a paper showing where and when to pick out her visa and said best WISHES.

congrats Dotman....how much time does your wife get to travel to usa...? i suppose six months...

my interview maybe in March 2014...and my husband has filed for citizenship in the last week of december 2013...my question is if I travel to USA in September 2014...and my husband already becomes citizen before September 2014, do we have to notify NVC?
