Okay I just paid my highest phone bill. It was $400, it was worth it though because that includes the calls to the US consulate in Cuba to sheduele his interview and a couple of 1 hour phone calls to my honey. Remember I pay $2 a minute on my cell phone to call cuba (with best quality) and between $.80-$1.00 on phone Cards (with the usual echo)

Approximately $20.00 + for our longest time in one month which was over 3000 minutes. Thank God for the Wintel 25 cent per call long distance plan up here, it's cheaper than the Internet and for video we use Internet cafés on the rare occasion.

When I first started to call my fiancee, I added plan to cell phone they actually gave me wrong price of plan and told me they were doing a special that month and that I could have free calls and the cell phone bill was $1,500.00. Oh but when I got that cell phone bill I was but, because they gave me wrong information they adjusted the whole bill..... I was like "there is a GOD".

When Claudeth first got here she ran up my landline to about $3000 in the first two months. I passed out when I received the first bill for over $2000 and there was more to come. I immediately shut the landline down to local calls only and bought her calling cards

$85.00 that's because it was a double bill. I never ever called Jamaica on my home phone. I always used cards everything was prepaid even my celly. I knew I couldn't be trusted, best decision I ever made.

When we first started calling each other, neither of us had a proper long distance plan. I think my highest bill was $200, but Joe's was over $800! I ended up getting a plan that offered unlimited long distance in Canada and the US for $20/month and from then on I did all the calling; he would use a phone card to call if he wanted to talk, and I would call him back. It used to save me $1000's a month, literally.
