Just had a quick question. My British fiance and I are waiting on the NOA2 but we have a question about when he has his medical. He has a tattoo on his shoulder will this effect the medical in a bad way?

Edit : Is that a self carve tattoo you were talking about or is that being put on by some professional tattoo artist?

If it's just a normal ink tattoo (not gang related as earlier mentioned), there would be no need for it to even be mentioned at the medical. My husband has lots of them, and they weren't mentioned at Knightsbridge. No reason for them to care!

Having been around the UK forum for many years, I know of someone who was asked "how old is the tattoo"? It seems the concern was it looked brand new and Knightsbridge was concerned about hepatitis or whatever people can get from dirty tattoo places. (sorry, clueless about tattoos). If it is an old tattoo, then never questioned.

As I said it's because of people like you, people get judged for past events. I'm not looking for snide remarks if I say tattoo I mean an inked tattoo. Yes he has scars but that is not what I am speaking of here.
