Form OF-169

So on December 27, 2013 my DS-261 accepted and my agent is of course my brother in USA and my father the petitioner ! Afterward we paid the iv fee on December 28, 2013 and sent out the AoS package ! On December 30, 2013 IV Fee Paid , upon it paid ! My agent ( brother ) received an email from Embassy Form OF-169 ! And he was about to send out IV package but after read and read form OF-169 , he was starting to confuse ! It's the same as IV package ! Here the instruction of Form OF-169

Complete and return by mailing immediately to this office the enclosed Application for
Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (form DS-230). , Affidavit of support (form I-864), and this
Form OF-169. This office cannot process your case until these forms are received

So by this , mean we don't need to send the iv package to NVC ? just send off to Embassy in my country ??? Or what ?

USUALLY, DCF folk get it, but even then, that was ages past. Mostly, it's not used anymore. For your visa type, NVC handles payments and doc intake, so for certain, it's quite confusing that you received it.

Perhaps IV Cambodia (or wherever yer to interview) is confused. If you are doing NVC processing, ignore it.

IF you have an expedite request in play at NVC , this can be used as a notice for what to do at the IV Unit.

For clarity, call NVC on tuesday when they are open, get a supervisor, and go over that letter with them.

Synposis - you are doing NVC doc intake and it's abnormal for you to receive that letter from the IV Unit.

Okay so i just called them ! And they told me to call to my embassy for more detailed but they did explain to me that my case is still at nvc how come the embassy send the form out to my agent ? They don't have the case yet ! So i think it must be a problem !

As you said @Darnell i might ignore them ! Please @apple21 and @Darnell please give some opinions regarding this

Call your embassy.

In my opinion, submit the AOS and IV packages to NVC as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Oh that's i informed apple21 that i will send out visa package

Regarding the OF-169 it is a mistake i talked with supervisor and they told me to ignore it
