I accidentally signed the back of the money orders like an idiot. Can't I still send them in and just put a line through my signature on the back? It takes up to 30 days for me to get the money back from western union and I don't have another $1070. This is crazy to me, all the advancements we've made and yet I have no way of getting my money back besides waiting weeks. So aggravated, someone please tell me they will still cash my money order if I put a line through my signature on the back.

You are welcome to try, but you have endorsed it already. That is how checks work, there isn't meant to be a load of scribbles on the back. Why can't you cash your own money order and then get a new one?

Money orders are even more old-fashioned than checks. You don't have a checking account?

My bank won't allow it, I think because I already filled the front out. I read someone else posted the same thing on here and they just crossed it out and sent it in and someone replied that they'll probably just put their stamp over it and it shouldn't be a problem bc USCIS has probably seen bigger goof ups. I think I'm gonna try and send it in maybe initial it next to where I put a line through my signature.

I see it's just for letting me know via online if accepted or not rather than wait for the mail I believe, assuming it's optional.

**Do I staple the individual form packets for example the I-864 do I staple all of those pages together and then after that, whatever form package is needed staple those together and so forth? Thanks again!!!

Sorry for the last question guys, I found the answer via search..you guys are so good that I forgot to look for myself before posting! Just getting ahead of myself here. Couple of last questions (I swear).

1)Should I attach form i797c notice of action for my I 130?? If so, where should I include it?

2) Since my wife doesn't have an I-94 or was never issued a visa or stamped passport, should I include a typed note explaining that, so they don't think I just left those areas blank?

That's all guys, I want to really thank everyone who has helped me thus far, I cannot say enough

About you guys, you should be very proud of the help you offer people, you change lives! Thank you!!

I-94s are electronic now. You online and pull her I-94 down and there, you'll have all the data you need. But I really strongly suggesting you to read all the instructions that come along with the forms....then you wouldn't be asking so many questions. I mean it's fine asking, but you're kind of abusing that priviledge...LOL Good luck!

You MUST attach a copy of your I-130 petition Notice of Action, that was the very first thing we talked about!

You should also explain why she does not have a I-94 (Canadian visitor). I am fairly certain we went over that too.

She doesn't have a record online for the I-94, so nothing to print out, just have to write a note.

My wife's situation is a bit more complicated, but she entered over a land crossing from Canada and did not receive an I-94 or stamp. We submitted an affidavit containing details of her entry along with various documents that proved her ties with Canada. We have a lawyer, so he also sent a legal brief. We still received an RFE, and responded by resending what was sent in the original package. My wife received her EAD a month after the RFE response and our interview is scheduled for June. You can try filing a Freedom of Information Act request for your wife's entry records, but it takes forever. We filed one in December and it hasn't even been looked at. Experienced IOs should be familiar with this and shouldn't be a big issue.
