I'm American from Houston. I talk more like the deep south because my results were Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Jackson, Mississippi; and Birminham, Alabama. Will be interesting to hear how the Brits come out on this.

Hahaha...this is very interesting and accurate test.

My test result show that I am most similar to Chicago area.

I lived in Chicago area for many years, until I moved to Houston in 2002.

Definitely, I noticed some difference in how people talk between Chicago and Houston.

My son went to Harvard and he's a linguist, so I will share this with him.

Not quite visa related, but it was excellent brain relaxer for the holiday.

I'm from the east coast and my map suggest the same thing. Pretty accurate! I'm amazed!!!!

It will give you three city names that are most similar to your dialect if you scroll down from the results. The second time I did it (with some different questions), I move slightly west and picked up Houston, dropping Alabama. I think it was the name of the road that runs parallel to a major freeway-- forgot the exact description. The only red on the map centered around Houston.

I had no idea we were the only ones who said feeder.

No. I've never even been there. I think they must just be the closest to an accent from south-east England.

I was curious and want to see if I sound like I'm from my hometown. I was surprised that the first thing it said was my exact town. It was because I said "pop" for a drink. It was funny to see different saying.

I did have to tick "other" a lot. For example, in my family, woodlouse are called "crawlie-bobbers". I heard once that the name for these varies in the extreme in the UK.

I'll have to get the husband to do it. He's from Wisconsin, grew up in Indiana, then spent most of the last decade in SF (bar the 18 months in London with me - he did pick up a dew Britishisms in that time).
