Hello,

I filed my I-130 (together with I-485, I-131, and I-765) on Nov 23, they were received on Nov 26, and the notice was issued on Dec 3. I got my I-797C (NOA1) around the 10th. My processing center is NBC (National Benefits Center). Anyone know if it's good or bad? I checked my case status online, and the estimated processing time for I-130 seems to be 7.4 months.. Also, my I-485 status online has been stuck on "acceptance", while the other three are on "initial review". Is that normal?

hey Tandy,

you are the lucky one because you live together with your spouse, while waiting for this process to be done, right ? Most of us is separated :( This 7-10 months of waiting for you shouldn't be that hard as it is for me and my hubby.

I believe that what your status shows is normal, but you might want to search and read other topics, guides to find more information.

December 2013 Spreadsheet

NOA1-12/5/2013

NOA2-8/11/2014

Scan date-11/12/2014

Case Complete - 12/30/2014

Nana, Tandy is doing Adjustment of Status. Totally different than stand-alone I-130 filing.

Thanks. I do live with my husband, so hopefully it'll be faster than 7.4 months. I just started reading previous posts under this topic.. Seems like NBC kinda sucks. My auntie is going through the same process as I am, and theirs got sent to California center. She filed in Oct, and told me that they are going to be approved very soon (well, they did it thru an agency, and that's what they were told by the agents there).

Anyways, hope it goes well for everyone here. :-)

Hello,

My I-485 and I-130 (together with I-131 and I-765) were received on Nov. 26, four I-797C (receipt) forms were issued on Dec. 3, so I guess I'm a December filer then. I got my biometrics appointment hard copy in the mail around Dec. 10. My package got sent to NBC (national benefits center), and I've heard this one is kinda backed up. Anyone here who also filed this month? Share your experience here! :-)

I just sent my package yesterday. They should have received it today. Now the wait begins:)

Congrats! I sent mine on the 22nd in November, and didn't get anything until December 5 or so. Just wait a little bit, once you get the I-797C saying all your forms are received, it wouldn't be long until they send you the Biometrics Appointment letter. Good luck!

Same here, I sent my package with I-130, I-485 and I-765. While the I-130 and I-765 status shows "Initial Review", the I-485 is still showing "Acceptance".

Both checks got cashed, so I don't know what to think about it. Anyone has any experience in the same situation?
