USCIS sending confusing RFE messages

USCIS is playing with us.

First, On Dec. 4, 2013 they stated on the message the RFE hard copy was sent. We waited until today no mail from them. Then yesterday noon my husband received an email from them saying like this;

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

First email from yesterday 12.00 noon.

We experienced that except the "post office returned the notice".. Today when I checked our Case status it says

Funny because before we got the RFE my husband changed his address then they didnt put it yet about the changed address.. After we got an RFE it went to "INITIAL REVIEW" stating that my husband changed his address. I think delayed for updating..

It has happened to many people. But call just to verify they have your correct mailimg address and wait for the RFE.

Thanks friend. My husband called and the officer said it was an error from their side. And asked him why did it happen. And the officer said he cannot answer it now until we wait for 15 days.

My husband changed his address even before the USCIS transferred our files to NSC and we received the hard copy of the transfer to the new address. And why now undeliverable. Isn't it funny. The first time they requested for RFE was Dec 4, 2013 and sent the mail to my husband address but didn't receive until now. And then these messaged yesterday. And I checked our USCIS website account and it says additional evidence on Dec 10, 2013.

As of now, they are screwing with me and thats what i meant. I have been trying to get my petition upgraded to spouse of US citizen for the last 2 months and still nothing.

I dont know why your husband had to use an attorney. The process is lengthy but straightforward.

RFE: Dec 4, 2012 (Our attorney jst called us and said he called them and this was jst an error incl the emails we got yesterday)

RFE: Dec 10, 2013 (USCIS really sent the RFE thru mail on this date sent to us yesterday, our attorney said)

I hope this is true. We are really affected of everything esp me. We are still waiting for approva; It will be after sending them all the evidence they need, then decision approved or denied.

I know. He hired and paid him before he consulted me. His reason was he has no time to do it bec he's too busy with his work. We ddn't realize that it wld be like this.

Sadly that is usually the case with attorneys when it comes to this process.

Hi Rose & Mike, I sent you a PM. A similar thing happened to my case. I contacted my congressman and senator to check into my case and my congressman got an email saying I had an RFE. I have received no notice of an RFE. I'm calling USCIS right now, tier 1 said he saw no sign of an RFE being sent. Currently on hold for tier 2 (only 50 min today!). Will let you know what they say!
