Hi to everyone!

Will NVC automatically revoked a petition due to subsequent changes on marital status? Original petition is under F2b then converted to F1 due to petitioner got naturalized. However, beneficiary got married back in 2000 then later on got annulment in 2010. (NVC was informed only about the changes of status last year 2012). As for now, may case is now for further processing at NVC waiting for case to be completed. Does it mean that my petition will not be revoked since my petitioner naturalized before I got married? (I know if anybody has a f2b petition pending and he get marry after his petitioner got naturalized, his/her petition will be automatically revoked). I don't know when my dad naturalized (haven't spoken to my dad about his naturalization date).

I’m hoping you can shed me some light about this matter.

Thank you in advance and God Bless us all!

If you marry while your parent is still an LPR your petition is viod because LPR's can only file and have petitions for unmarried children. Once they become a USC they can have open petitions for married children. If they become a USC and do not change the petition class and you marry , you will have some confusion about the validity of the petition. If the petitin class was changed then you are fine.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

doesn't know if my petitioner got naturalized before I got married. Is it possible that NVC will not continue processing of my case if petitioner got his US citizenship after I got married? I notified NVC about the subsequent changes on my marital status last year.

First of all, you need to ask your father the exact date of his naturalization. NVC cannot give you an answer if you don't have any evidence that your petitioner has become a US citizen.

In order for NVC to understand your case, you need to provide them a copy of your father's naturalization certificate, your marriage certificate and your annulment decree.
