Hi,

My petition is at Texas and we replied to the RFE last week. I was thinking of calling to confirm if the packet was recived or not.

Which number should I call on? and do they send a notice of recieving the RFE or update the online status to RFE revview?

You didn't mail it with an option to track the package ?

I found this website with TSC phone # http://forums.immigration.com/threads/does-anyone-know-the-phone-number-of-texas-service-center.234045/] I am not sure if it is still accurate though.

Yayyy I just got a text message saying my stepson I-130 has been approve! Now am waiting on my husband to be approve.

Awsome !! :goofy: Did you get it for your husband too ? :) I want to add you to our spreadsheet, give me some good news girl! :)

yesterday 6/25/14 i got two emails no text that 2 petitions were approved at VSC. i filed one on 12/2/2013 and the other on 3/7/2014

Hooray ! :dancing: That is great ! :dancing:

ok guys here is my update of service request...

My case is in Additional Review. :)

I hope it will not take them too much time now to give you your noa2! *crossing fingers*

NOA on 1.2, got our REF.

Sorry to hear that. I bet it is something simple :)

and I saw on our spreadsheet that some quiet VJ members got their approvals too - Congrats Shareez , Sumair and janoka :dancing:

We sent it via USPS with tracking. They say its delivered, but i havent heard anything from USCIS! how long does it take for status to get updated to RFE review? I had heard it takes only about a day or two, but its been more than a week now

Many people have been getting the same nonsense answer to their service request including myself. I don't know what they are doing but it seems they are not really working on December filers right now, as approvals seem to have come to a trickle. There are still way too many of us that have not received our NOA2. It is really frustrating to see people at other service centers from January, February and even march getting approvals and here we are going into our 7th month. Unfortunately it is all about bringing the average down.

I think it may be of some benefit to contact the ombudsman: http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

or try the congressman route.

Not to worry though, we will all eventually get our NOA2. What infuriates me even more is that not only are we delayed in receiving approvals, it seems we will also crawl through the nvc stage at it appears that things are moving much slower with nvc as of late.

Good Morning All,

I contacted our lawyer to ask them to expedite our case as we filed 187 days ago.

Yesterday I got an email saying...

I hope all is well. We contacted USCIS to check processing times for the I-130. We spoke with agent Clover and she informed us that it should normally take 5 months. She looked into the processing time for the I-130’s that start with the LIN receipt number which is what you have and said that they are within the time frame for that office. As a result, we were not able to place a service request at this time. If the I—130 still has not been approved within the next 30 days, we will call USCIS to place a service request at that time. Hang in there!

We have to stay strong guys and remain positive that next week will bring us many approvals.

Have a great weekend!
