Hi everyone! Im new, so anyways my attorney sent my package December 23,2013.they recieved it December 30th. I got reciepts on January 9th and January 10th I got the letter for biometrics for January 23... I have to show up at the Fort Worth location and not sure if they would accept walk-ins . Please share your timeline with me please! Im becoming a nervous wreck!!!:(

Welcome Dallas29! You can always try an early walk in because I read about many people that did that throughout the country. The success of your early walk in depends on the person that is working on the office that day and if the office is not busy. Most people are able to do it :). Don't become a nervous wreck, it's not worth it. Be positive, stay busy and be patient because the wait is what drives me crazy!

Oh thats cool. If you dont mind me asking were are they processing your case? Do you know how long it takes to recieve the permit after the finger prints? I know every case is different im just wondering more or less... Ive heard of people getting it within days and some within a month or 2.

Our process was sent to the National Benefits Center. I'm not sure about how long it takes for the permit but I have read anywhere from 20-40 days after the fingerprint. I am expecting to get mine sometime in February and hoping for an interview notice about the same time BUT I have read people in my area taking from 5-6 months to complete the whole process. My lawyer told me it could take anywhere from 4-7months in our case. Your lawyer can definitely tell you an average according to your area+previous cases.
