Good Morning

My Case .. My father's American citizen .. I'm 18 year's old from egypt .. I haven't american passport or green card !

My father will sent to uscis to bring me with him but he now in egypt and he will make that in june ( I will be 19 year'sold )

And I want to travel with him in very short time .. because it's my dream to live in united states !

and it's my question

What's the difference between ir-2 & K-2 Visa ??

What's the time will take for each one to make my interview in united states embassy in cairo ?

What's the time will take for each one to can go to us ?

Your father would need to file an I-130 seeking an IR-2 immigrant visa for you. Expect the process to take ~1 - 2 years factoring in the almost certain AP you will have being a young male from Egypt.

A K-2 is not applicable to your situation.

A K2 is for the minor child of a fiance visa holder, it does not apply in your case.

hi

the age will freeze because you were under 21, and probably the petition will take less than 2 years, usually 8 months to a year or little over a year

now, why does he have to wait until June? can't he file now or sooner than that date? the sooner the better.

hi

but is he living in the US? as long as he can prove that he is living here and that he is petitioning to come to the US because he is living here, by the time you have your interview he will be back in the US. has he filed taxes? is he working in the US? if not, does he have a joint sponsor?

he can file the i130 from over there, mailing it to the lockbox in the US, it will usually take 5 to 7 months for approval

do we make the interview in the same time and we will travel all in the same time or each one of them will be have his special case and special time to make interview and get the visa ?

If your father is not domiciled in the US then he will not be able to petition you or any other family members.

Does he file US taxes? Does he have a valid driver's licence / ID card? Does he maintain a US bank account? Does he own or rent property in the US? Does he receive mail at a permanent address (even a PO box)?

Domicile can be a complicated subject. He needs to show he is domiciled in the US (i.e. the US is his permanent residence) before he can petition any family members for a green card.

You said "he is now in Egypt and will stay forever", which I took to mean he isn't returning to the US, and if that is the case then he cannot petition you (or anyone else).

I wasn't asking about your friend, I always was talking about your father.

Why does he want to file for your if he isn't living full time In the US or will he be living full time in the US? It makes no sense if he isn't to file for his family to live permanently in the US when he won't

I imagine that he has a domicile in the US since he spends 6 months out of the year in the US.

That is a lot of money, he has to petition each one separately, 4 different petitions, as there are no derivatives.
